• Boxes are limited to 75 lbs; anything over this limit will be considered as two boxes
• Items must be limited to what two people can carry safely

• There will be a $50.00 per hour fee for any wait time, such as waiting for you to sign your lease, get your keys, or waiting for you to arrive at a pick up or drop off location. Please complete the lease signing process prior to the arrival of your movers
• If you are moving out of our extended service area there will be a charge of $1.00 per mile each way. Call for a quote.

• There will be an additional carrying charge of $25.00 per 75 foot walk above and beyond the initial 75 feet from the moving truck to your door. For example, if the walk between truck and door is less than 75 feet, there will be no charge. 76 feet through 150 feet from truck to door = $25.00. 151 feet through 225 feet from truck to door = $50.00, and so on. Every 75 foot increment will be an additional $25.00. This is meant to offset exorbitant labor costs in the event your apartment community or pick-up location is built in a way that forces a moving truck to park extremely far from the door. Most moves are not impacted by this fee.
• If you choose to reschedule or cancel your move on the day of the move there is a $50 reschedule/cancellation fee. Please try to notify us of any reschedules/cancellations 24 hours in advance to avoid additional fees
• If you have additional pick up or drop off location(s) there is a $30.00 surcharge per location
• If any pick up or drop off location is above the second floor, there is a $25.00 surcharge for each location above the second floor
• Any item(s) that require going over balconies or through windows: ($50.00)

• It is strongly recommended that you schedule your move early. Schedules are set based on first come; first serve, in the order of received client move requests
• All move customers must submit a move request via our online move scheduling system
• All move requests must be submitted within 60 days of lease start date
• Upon successfully submitting a move request, you will be contacted by one of our Move Coordinators who will review your request, answer any questions, and schedule your move date and time

Due to the significant increase in the average price of gasoline, UMoveFree Apartment Locators has been forced to implement a fuel surcharge on moves with excessive driving mileage.

Fuel surcharges will only impact a customer if total driving mileage between pick up location(s) and drop off location is in excess of our standard driving mileage of 13 miles. In the event that a customer's driving mileage exceeds this generous limit, the customer will be responsible for a fuel surcharge equal to $2.50 for every mile above the standard mileage. Exact mileage and fuel surcharge, if applicable, will be made available to all customers prior to scheduling their move. In the event that a customer wishes to avoid this surcharge, they may opt to receive the rebate offer instead.

UMoveFree uses Google Maps API version 2 for driving distance calculations.

• In the event a customer does not qualify for our full free move offer, they may be offerred a Move Credit, at UMoveFree's discretion
• In the event of a Move Credit, UMoveFree will only pay the contracted moving company an amount equal to the credit amount
• Customer is responsible for any and all additional charges above this Move Credit amount
• Move Credit customers will be billed for moving services based on an hourly rate (Contact Moving Coordinator for rate details)

• Under certain circumstances, a customer may wish to provide and drive their own moving truck, but use UMoveFree's movers to either load or unload their belongings (i.e. you are moving to your new apartment from outside our extended services areas)
• These customers may be offered a Load or Unload service at UMoveFree's discretion
• In the event of a Load or Unload, UMoveFree will only pay for the first 1.5 hours of moving services
• Customer is responsible for any and all additional hourly rate charges above this initial 1.5 hours (contact a Moving Coordinator for rate details)

• Customer is responsible for paying the moving company for any additional charges at the time of unload
• The moving company will begin a move only after all boxes are taped and sealed. All items of clothing must be properly boxed
• UMoveFree and/or its agents will not be responsible for damages caused to boxed items
• The moving company reserves the right to reschedule moves to the next available time slot due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
• All items must be removed from all furniture, including dressers, chests, wine racks, and entertainment centers
• UMoveFree and/or its agents will not be responsible for damages caused to furniture made with or of particleboard
• UMoveFree and/or its agents waive responsibility for damages to any item they believe cannot be moved safely
• A waiver form must be signed before the move
• Customer acknowledges that UMoveFree will hire an independent contractor to perform the moving services for customer and that no partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between UMoveFree and the independent contractor is created
• Customer acknowledges that UMoveFree is not a moving company and is not required to carry insurance as proscribed by the Texas department of Transportation
• Customer assumes the entire risk related to using UMoveFree to facilitate a free move. UMoveFree disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will UMoveFree be liable to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, lost profits, costs and expenses including reasonable attorneys' fees (collectively "Losses"), resulting in any manner, directly or indirectly, from a free move arranged by UMoveFree for customer
• UMoveFree and its designated, independent moving company reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
• A client who has met the qualifications and is refused service will be compensated with a rebate offer instead of our free move offer
